Part 1/4: My 3-month plan to get the attention of a NYT bestselling author

Hi! This is Kathryn,

And, it’s been a while since I spoke to you, my lovely email list.

Not that I haven’t spoken to it.

But, it’s been more of “Hey, did you see what I posted on YouTube? Did you see what I posted on Instagram?”

I can do better.

You deserve better.

So, from here on out, we’re going to get you some unique, quality material that rewards you for being on my email list.

Thanks for being on my email list.

You might have found me through CF Design School, my YouTube channel, Instagram, or maybe even my book.

But, however you got here, I’m just so grateful that you actually are here.

I remember the first email list I intentionally joined.

I mean, there were other lists that I joined.

But, when I would opt in to get a 20% discount from H&M back in the day I legitimately had no clue what I was signing up for.

Getting back to it…

The first list I joined intentionally was Ramit Sethi’s.

He’s the author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller called I Will Teach You To Be Rich.

I read his book (devoured it, really), and fell in love with the way that he taught. I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could from this guy.

I bought his courses, read his blog, watched him on YouTube.

But, there was always something missing.

I wanted to meet him.

Like, be in the same room, shake his hand, learn from him, and connect with other people who have had their lives as impacted as I had.

But, there was a problem.

His “events” were Masterminds for his really elite students.

I was just starting out.

I couldn’t afford the $2,997 ticket plus trip and hotel in NYC.

But, I needed to meet him.

He had changed my life.

Like, “permanently-altered-the-trajectory-of-my-life” changed my life.

So, I came up with a plan to connect with Ramit.

It was…intense.

It took 3 months.

But, I was determined.

OPERATION: MEET RAMIT was in full effect.

Details dropping tomorrow.
