2 principles to follow if you always want money to buy what you want

Spend lavishly on things you love.

Not things that you like, but things that you love.  This will moderate what buy and will actually increase your overall happiness because you will be getting a surplus of things that really mean a lot to you.

Cut mercilessly on things you only like.

If you don’t love something, don’t spend a lot on it.  If you don’t care about eating out, then don’t eat at crazy expensive restaurants just because.  If you don’t really care about clothes, don’t buy designer brands.  By cutting on things that you feel moderately about, you’ll allow yourself the funds to spend exorbitantly on things that you deeply love.

Spend on what you love, cut on what you don’t.
