8 minutes each day will connect you to your business idols

Your business idols get pitched ideas all day every day.

And, most of the ideas they get pitched are bad.  Or selfish, on the part of the person pitching them.

So, to start, steer clear of trying to get your business idol to do something for you, and instead, do something for them.

One idea?

A thank you note.

Chandler Bolt, CEO of Self-Publishing School, wrote a thank you note to someone every day for a whole year.  A lot of those people were people in his business niche that he really admired.

Though his intentions were purely to express appreciation, these ‘thank you’ notes went a long way.  They provided him with business opportunities and connection that he could have never anticipated.

And, it took him 8 minutes per day.

A worthy investment, if you ask me.

A ‘thank you’ note is a good place to start in connecting with your business idols.  To learn the next steps, check out this guide.
